Danny Gokey, a 28-year-old from Milwaukee, WI, had the most heart-wrenching story of the Kansas City auditions. Danny's wife died just four weeks before his audition due to health problems. The Robert Downey Jr. lookalike did a great rendition of "I Heard it Through the Grapevine" by the Temptations.
