When I was a teenager in 1969, one of my beloved waterbrothers passed me a magazine article declaring that marriage as we knew it was ending, that new and different ways of partnering were the future, and that group marriage was one of them. Part of me was elated that ideas like our little group's were getting into print. Another part of me, even at my innocent age and in the midst of poly NRE, knew that the article was out to lunch.And indeed, talk of the end of traditional marriage disappeared
